Program Description

Recurrent posterior glenohumeral instability can be a difficult task to recognize and provide intervention.  Due to its less common occurrence versus other bouts of instability, posterior shoulder laxity may appear unrecognizable to some clinicians.  The purpose of this webinar is to introduce this atypical presentation that includes clinical signs and symptoms, mechanism of injury, and rationale for clinical intervention.

At the completion of this lecture the attendee will….

  • identify the clinical presentation and mechanism of injury associated with posterior glenohumeral instability
  • recognize interventional standards of care for addressing posterior shoulder hypermobility
  • apply evaluation and treatment concepts for posterior shoulder laxity through case presentation
